Assistant Store Manager
Manage the day to day operations of a fast paced, customer focused home improvement center to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service by coaching and developing our employees through strong leadership in a productive and supportive work environment.
The Job
- Ensure the safety of employees and customers throughout Jerry's stores
- Supervise, train, and develop Department Managers
- Train, coach, and motivate teams to drive sales through effective selling and customer service
- Manage the day to day operations of two to three multi-million dollar departments
- Independently analyze business results and formulate plans for improvement that are consistent with company objectives
- Collaborate with Management and Corporate Merchandising team to identify opportunities for sales growth and develop plans for improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years prior retail management experience
- Passion to teach, coach and develop a successful team
- Drive to create opportunities for growth and development for yourself and the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Schedule
- Scheduled 45-50 hours weekly
- Typically 5-days a week, rotating regular schedule which includes every-other weekend off, and 1 weekday off per week.
Compensation
- Annual compensation starting at $65,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
- Full-time position with Medical, Dental, Vision and Disability benefits
